World of Warcraft was first introduced almost five years ago, and in the beginning, folks did not do a lot of Dungeons. It had been something which the guilds ran through, and not something which normal gamers seemed to get into. It was subsequently really hard to locate additional gamers who would be willing to team together with you and then journey half-way around the world in order to go into the Dungeon with you. Also, getting a Warlock to join your party seemed to be practically necessary in order to teleport folks to the dungeon, or else your team could not get going.
There are plenty of great low lvl dungeons but the majority of people never take a look at them since it is actually tougher to get low level gamers to team with because everyone on the server seemed to be already at lvl eighty. Luckily that has changed with the introduction of the brand new Dungeon Finder method in Patch 3.3.
Should you go into Warcraft right this moment and go into the “Looking for” Group window, you will see the brand new ‘Dungeon Finder’ instead. The Dungeon Finder seems pretty similar to the way the “looking for” one was organized. There are the role choices at the top. Then you have the choice of being the leader of the team, if you want.
The Dungeon Finder program will then quickly locate a team for you and teleport the whole team into the dungeon so you can start playing instantly. That’s right, it finds you a team AND gets you to the dungeon! Talk about time savers!
If you have ever actually stuck to the quest narratives in WoW, you probably already realize that ultimately the storylines guide players into the dungeons. It used to be irritating back in the day to have tons of great quests just waiting in the log-book that you just weren’t able to accomplish on your own. Waiting around until eventually you were high level so that you could so it solo essentially took the excitement away from it and by that time, you didn’t even need the rewards from it anymore.
When Blizzard introduced the new dungeon finder, I realized that it could really help me with leveling-up. Now it’s a pretty common move to make. A lot of gamers reach lvl fifteen and then they basically just do a ton of different dungeons until finally they reach lvl eighty.
Although this is a well established technique for lvl-ing, I actually think it’s pretty monotonous just running dungeons for 65 levels. It’s so much like just grinding your way up. Just slaying monsters all the time, without any specific purpose other than lvling, is not really my idea of “fun.” Blizzard designed the storylines so that the dungeons are the final location which players go to in order to finish the quest series. So hey, novel idea, that’s precisely what I decided to do.
Before going to run a dungeon, I generally finish each of the quests needed for that dungeon. Usually, there are about three to five quests for each dungeon with a number of them requiring players to finish a string of solo quests first.
Dungeon quests are obviously harder than the basic quests so you’re compensated with two times the exp pts and rare items. So basically, finishing five dungeon quests is the equivalent of finishing ten quests by yourself. The blend of the quick grinding exp you get inside Dungeons and the Dungeon quests provide you with the quickest lvling possibly. I frequently lvl-up about one or one-and-a-half entire levels simply by turning in the quests. And I’d get about one-and-a-half to two more levels just finishing the dungeon, and then there’s the rare items you get, which are on par with, (and often better than) Heirloom items.
At first, I was using still like wowhead and wowwiki to help me through some of the dungeons, but then I found Dugi’s Dungeon Leveling Guide and was amazed at how easy it was.
It’s an easy to follow guide for the Dungeons at each lvl. For instance, if you’re lvl25 and you’d like to run the Razonfen Craul quests and dungeon, you just select the Razonfen Craul guide and follow the super easy instructions, which will also tell you all the pre-req quests for Razonfen Craul.
This particular guide also advises you when you need to zone, queue and start the dungeon. It also tells you what to do after you’ve completed the dungeon. This guide instantly will give you complete directions about where you need to turn in the quests as well as exactly how to get there.
As soon as you finish a dungeon you can easily go to the following dungeon in the guide. Using this guide, I’ve been able to lvl super fast. Having the guide readable while you’re in the game is an amazing feature and it helps make finishing the dungeons, (and leveling up fast), super easy and quick.
Dugi’s Dungeon Leveling Guide generally cuts out all the unnecessary solo quests and only has you do the dungeon quests that are prerequisites. However, I did notice that Dugi occasionally provides info about solo quests that you don’t need for a dungeon but that was simply because you’ll already be questing in that specific location, so it totally pays to finish the additional solo quests while you’re already there.
So far, I have been loving every minute of leveling with this guide. WoW seems like a totally different game. A lot of the story lines in the Dungeons are totally legendary. Someone asked me what my favorite was, but I had a tough time deciding. I suppose I would have to say it’s a tie between the Scarlet Monastery Cathedral and Gnomeregan.
Hopefully, Blizzard will adapt the dungeons for Cataclysm cuz it’s be a pity to drop all of them permanently. Just in case, I’d suggest you finish the Dungeons before Cataclysm arrives, so that you can really experience the vibrant story line in Warcraft.
I’ve noticed a lot of folks getting to lvl80 without having any idea about how to play in their class. Running the dungeon quests is the most effective approach to understanding your class since as people level-up, the dungeon obviously get more difficult and you’ll progressively discover the way to perform your class function so that hopefully as soon as you do reach lvl80 you won’t get made fun of or booted from your guild and raids when you don’t understand how to play your class in dungeons.
